I’ve been in the mood for a change on the blog for quite some time and hadn’t had the motivation to do anything about it until recently. It turns out it’s not as easy as I thought it would be, though. After some drama with getting the new header put together–and lots of help from M–I found out the hard way that different templates require different sized headers. Then I realized my header didn’t quite look right in any template I actually liked. This is the best combination of the two I’ve found, and I guess I’ll stick with it until my creative juices give me a better idea for a header, and then the process will start all over again.
One quick question about it, though…do any of you know how to get rid of that stupid page navigation? I’m not going to do anything with my “about” page, so I might as well get rid of it and the unsightly tabs across the top. The problem is that I haven’t the slightest idea how to go about doing that. Any computer geniuses out there care to help me out?
Update: I decided to try one more change to the header, and it actually looks better back with the old template. I think. Maybe I’ll change it again later. Consider it a work in progress for now, I guess.
